Sierra Custom Cues: Rare and Wonderful

Friday, June 12th, 2009

Sierra Custom Cues are very rare and are the utmost quality. Very few are created annually and those that are created are greatly coveted. These cues are created by hand and utilize more the natural beauty of the material than imposing a design foreign to the original substance. They are known for having a ringed accent around the joint of the cue. There is maple broken up in either side of the joint by ebony. As the name suggests, these are custom pool cues made for individuals and not manufactured in mass for public consumption. These cues are created out of unique woods. Beautiful mahogany, birds-eye maple, ginger, gray and cinnamon are types that can be found. Wraps are either polished Irish Linen or rich leather. Most of these sierra cues have Native American themes. Some examples are the “Cherokee”, “Navajo”, “Cheyenne”, “Apache” and “Catawba”. These cues have exceptional beauty and are vastly rare.
